Join us for an engaging evening with Professor Musa al-Gharbi as he explores the key themes of his new book, We Have Never Been Woke: The Cultural Contradictions of a New Elite. In a time of growing cultural division and political polarization, Professor al-Gharbi will examine the vital role of free speech in navigating today’s most contentious debates.

Musa al-Gharbi is an American sociologist and assistant professor at Stony Brook University’s School of Communication and Journalism. Renowned for his sharp insights into identity, inequality, extremism, and U.S. politics, he is a leading voice on how we shape collective understanding in an age of ideological fragmentation.
